MMI Engineered Solutions, a leader in plastic injection molding, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for the oversight and leadership of Shipping/Receiving departments to include management of the logistics warehouse operations (receiving, storage, and loading of raw materials, finished goods, dunnage, and other material) required to support the business. This position serves also as a back-up to the Assembly Supervisor role.


Essential Functions

  • Develop effective warehouse personnel to ensure an efficient, motivated, and skilled workforce.
  • Efficiently and accurately schedule trucks for on time delivery of orders to fulfill customer delivery commitments.
  • Manage, control and organize warehouse inventory to maintain order and efficiently meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor raw material, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels to efficient ensure product is available when/where needed to support both production and sales.
  • Ensure the maintenance and security of warehouse to preserve and protect company materials and work with cross-functional departments to ensure quality and maximize accuracy of shipments
  • Support Assembly operations as required
  •          Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  •          Follow all processes and make recommendation for improvement.
  •          Review operation process to ensure continuous cost improvement.
  •          Interact with other positions to ensure the efficient use of people during the manufacturing process.
  •          Lean Manufacturing. 5S and Workplace organization (standardized work centers) process.
  •          Schedule attainment by achieving production schedule and making shipments on time.
  •          Continue streamlining Pack & Scan guidelines to ensure product is easily located at time of need.
  •          Participate in quarterly inventory activities, create actions for continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of MS Suite, GM power supple, IQMS experience preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in production Automotive Tier 1 Supplier Facility in Materials or Logistics
